Barbara Heck

BARBARA(Heck) born 1734 in Ballingrane (Republic of Ireland) the daughter of Bastian and Margaret Embury. Bastian Ruckle (Sebastian) and Margaret Embury, daughter of Bastian Ruckle (Republic of Ireland) married Paul Heck (1760 in Ireland). They had seven children of which four were born in childhood.

The typical biography includes a subject who was an important participant in significant events, or who had a unique statement or ideas that were recorded. Barbara Heck however left no documents or correspondence, so the evidence for such matters in relation to when she got married is secondary. The main documents utilized by Heck in order to justify her motives and actions are gone. She is still a very significant figure at the start of Methodism.
